I love the shoe, its very comfortable. I bought the shoe because I do a lot of walking at work. The only thing I would like to know is how to clean and care for them. I had some grease on the toe and I tried to get it off with some leather cleaner and took some of the color out of it. Please advise if possible. thanks

This shoe is a nearly perfect combination of everything I want in a shoe. I have small but wide feet and this shoe fits perfectly. Since I have diabetes, I take additional care of my feet, and these Rockports are very comfortable, give excellent support, and are sturdy. When they are a little too worn out for work, I use them as my casual shoes on weekends.

I am 79 years old with very tender feet and over the years have suffered with sore feet caused by shoes that were a wee bit snug here or there. None of them have ever felt good all over. This shoe fits to a tee. I wear them throughout the day with none of those sore feelings.This is my second pair, a light tan for summer and a brown pair for winter. Couldn't be more satisfied.

This is my third pair. I was always accustomed to having to put up with new shoes until they broke in, but these are amazingly comfortable right out of the box, and continue to be comfortable as they break in. My only complaint is that the removable footbed wears out at the big toe after about 18 months.

This is my fifth pair of these shoes.I have ordered the exact same shoe all 5 times. It is a very good quality shoe. This is the first time that I have had a problem with the size not being perfect. This pair of shoes is narrow enough that it causes pain. I have had to adjust the insert (thinner) in the shoe to make it work. I expect that it will work better as I wear it more.

I ordered 2 pairs of these shoes. One in black, the other in Sand Nubuck. The black shoes are great - very comfortable and the style is exactly what I was expecting. The Sand Nubuck shoes were returned. The color on the website shows this shoe as a medium brown. However, the shoes I received are closer to a taupe or off-white color. Not really close to the color picture on the website.

Over the course of the last 10 years, I have purchased this shoe 4 times. This shoe is one of those which never goes out style and yet it is one of the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. I am not easy to fit as I have extra wide feet. This shoe fits perfectly. A plus to all of this is when you put this shoe on the first time, it feels as if it already broken in. There is no break in time period.I like these shoes for hiking as well as for everyday wear. I have an older pair which I wear in inclement weather and when I walk (for exercise) 3 to 4 miles. The new pair I wear at all other times. Then I have a real old pair of these shoes which I wear for yard work. As far as I am concerned you can't get a better shoe.
