I started buying Rockports some 8 years ago. At the time I was spending a lot of time on my feet a was looking for a good looking casual shoe that would provide me with comfort. I purchase a pair every year and will continue to do so. I have yet to find a shoe that fit my needs any better. The Rockport World Tour Classic is the only shoe my husband finds comfortable for his work day. Very pleased it comes in larger sizes. He did have to order a size larger (17) to get the best fit and this had previously been a great fit in the smaller size (16). Last and wear great with time. I highly recommend to men with larger feet looking for a comfortable and attractive shoe.
These have the Rockport quality, however I was disappointed in the comfort level for me. The sole seems too hard, but is definitely true to size. I bought them years ago and loved them, and finally had to toss them after 20 years of outstanding wear! I work in an a ER and on my feet for 12 hours plus, although my back doesn't hurt wearing these, they just feel hard too hard. But that is just me...I wish I hadn't bought 2 pairs now....ah well....But the workman ship and quality are there...
I had a pair of work casual shoes that I needed to replace. I do a moderate amount of walking during the day and need the shoe to be comfortable. I also have flat feet that need support. Good shoe. The support was great. But the prescription orthodics that are needed made the shoe squeak for quite some time. (I'm not sure another shoe would do any better.) After the squeaking stopped, it was a great feel.
