The lining has been made from the nappa leather which has the ability to wick the moisture away from the foot to maintain healthy, dry and fresh feet. The footbed has been wrapped with the foam chamber with dynamic suspension which multiples the comfort level and also massages the feet as you walk. The outsole has been made from the Polyurethane which is lightweight material and it also absorbs shocks. The outsole provides smooth and supportive ride for your comfort. This shoe was bought by me as a gift to my husband, and he likes it! I'm so happy to now be able to see him wearing something other than a white athletic shoe all the time. Buying shoes for another person can be a gamble, but this time it worked great for us. We love ShoeBuy! I have been buying this same shoe for several years. I have diabetes and bone spurs and use shoe inserts, and I find these shoes in nubuck the absolute best. I buy several pairs once a year and keep hoping the style endures. I have bought other styles and name brands over the years, but they sit in my closet while I wear my tried and true Rockport World Tour Classics. I sure wish they would come out in black nubuck instead of the black pebbled leather...
This was a replacement pair. My previous Rockports lasted almost five years. Wore them all the time and punished them thoroughly. Finally the older pair are looking bad enough for use in the workshop. The new pair is for casual dress day in the office, shopping and lounging in the book shop.
Their shoes are first rate and as advertised in each and every case. Shoes are something I would have not thought possible to purchase via the internet. Know your size, read the reviews and chances are you'll be as satisfied as I have been. Rockport in my humble opinion is a very comfortable and well made product. Feet & shoes are a very personal aspect of physical well being. Do your research and make an informed decision.
I liked it because I had already purchased the same shoe, 3 months earlier, in a different color hence I knew the quality and comfort level to expect. However, I am concerned about one thing. My earlier Rockport shoes could be re-soled and I don't know if this model can also be resoled.
