Shoe is well made, and extremely well fitting product. This is the second unit that I purchased and I am well satisfied with my purchase. I will by other Rockport products in the future. Most of my working career was spent standing or walking and I am aware that foot comfort is important to an overall feeling of well being.
I purchased the shoes for my 83 year old father and he just loves them. He has a very small foot for a man (6 1/2) and always has an extremely hard time finding shoes that fit. These worked great. I thought I was ordering the pair that he has had previously but turns out these are a little different but he likes them even better!
Four days after getting this shoe we went to New Mexico. I wore it for 10 hours on the flight down and the drive to Tucson. Fit great, very good support. Next day in the mountains around Silver City and for the next 6 days my feet loved the shoe.
I have been buying this style of Rockport shoes for several years now. I'm an avid walker and walk to work. I don't have occasion to change upon my arrival at work, so I need to wear shoes that are rugged enough for hard walking yet still look good enough for business casual purposes. These shoes fit the bill perfectly. It's at least the 20th pair I've owned over the years.
I purchased the nubuck in tan and it will work out ok, but I'm certain it will be more difficult to keep clean. Time will tell. The shoe fits well, I have this shoe in the medium width and it feels tight, so I ordered this shoe in the wide width and so far it feels much better.
