I have seen this shoe in stores with
different sole construction. These have the original
lightweight, flexible design, that I hope Rockport never
changes. This is my 4th pair (they do wear well, it's that
they have been making these so long) Only downside is that
they have no traction on ice. Be careful if that is a
consideration. Quick delivery and good price
I can only wear this shoe for a short time as it is to
tight. For the last 8 years I have been buying the same size
and they always fit just perfect. This is the first time I
have had a complaint about Rockport.
I have worn them for years. They are very well constructed
and wear like iron. My only problem is that they should come
an a wider width. XW is just not wide enough. Propet make a
wider shoe but the quality is not equivalent.
This is my second pair of Rockport World Tour Classics - My
first pair is still very wearable though a bit worn for the
office so I bought these. I shopped around extensively and
found shoebuy to have the best price on these anywhere plus
free shipping! Cant beat that with a stick + fast shipping
and good communication - I'll be back to shop again!
I have owned Rockport chukka boots for years and have been
very satisfied with their comfort and durability. While
planning for a recent trip to Scotland I realized that with
the exception of tennis shoes, I didn't own a pair of
comfortable walking shoes that were appropriate for warmer
weather and looked nice enough to go to work in. After
spending several days standing in front of a classroom and
logging quite a few miles on foot, I'm satisfied that I made
the right choice.
This is my 5th pair of Rockports, and surely not my last.
This is the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn and I'm as
a wholesale product representative for a national company,
on my feet as much as 12 hours a day, stooping, squatting,
walking and just standing. When I'm in front of my customer
I want to present a professional image and be comfortable.
With the Rockport I fill both needs. I won't own anything
else. Oh, by the way my last pair lasted 5 years. |
